About the company

Southern Silver Exploration Corp. is an exploration and development company. The Company is focused on the discovery of mineral deposits either directly or through joint-venture relationships in mineral properties in major jurisdictions. The Company is advancing its 100% owned Cerro Las Minitas silver-lead-zinc project, which is located about 70 kilometers to the northeast of the city of Durango in Durango State, Mexico, and is accessed easily by road. The project comprises 25 concessions totaling approximately 27,451 hectares and lies within the prolific Faja de Plata (Belt of Silver) of north central Mexico. It hosts multiple mineral deposits such as Penasquito, Los Gatos, San Martin, Naica and Pitarrilla. Its property portfolio also includes the Oro porphyry copper-gold project and the Hermanas gold-silver vein project. The Company also focuses on advancing its El Sol silver-lead-zinc claim. The Oro porphyry copper-gold project is located in New Mexico, the United States of America.
